Incremental Delivery
Most projects longer than a few days will be delivered incrementally. When
the project is initially designed, it is separated into small complete chunks.
These mini-projects form milestones for a projects progress. Each section
will require acceptance before moving onto the next one. This helps keep the
project under control and helps the project progress. Because defects
and new/changing requirements are handled properly a project should not
suffer "feature creep". An added benefit to you is that these small
segments can be done over a longer period of time to suit your budget.
