We specialise in database development in either Access or SQL Server.
Access is particularly suitable for small applications both for storing data (back end) and also as the visual part (front end). It is not really recommended for over five users or situations where a lot of simultaneous transactions are happening.
SQL Server is only used for storing data. It is far more reliable than Access
with this regard but is a lot more complicated to develop. However the results
are more secure, support more users and are much faster than Access. Because
there is no way of creating a visual aspect, you will quite often see it paired
up with Access as the front end.
